VT-X disabled? Not in hypervisor partition?

Hi, I am new to Virtualbox and I tried using it on Linux Ubuntu. I came across a problem in which an error popped up and said:

Failed to open a session for the virtual machine YO.

Not in a hypervisor partition (HVP=0) (VERR_NEM_NOT_AVAILABLE).

VT-x is disabled in the BIOS for all CPU modes (VERR_VMX_MSR_ALL_VMX_DISABLED).

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005)
Component: ConsoleWrap
Interface: IConsole {872da645-4a9b-1727-bee2-5585105b9eed}

I have already enabled Intel(R) Virtualization Technology and tried disabling hypervisor but I am denied access to change that. Any Help would be appreciated.

I think you are not using VirtualBox "on Ubuntu", you are using it on a Windows 10 host. I assume that Ubuntu is the guest to want to install.

Moving this topic to "Windows Hosts".

Read related FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests.
