Hi,

I get this message when I try to open Virtualbox:

Could not open the medium '/Users/Vee/VirtualBox VMs/Windows/Windows.vdi'.
VD: error VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND opening image file '/Users/Vee/VirtualBox VMs/Windows/Windows.vdi' (VERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND).

Result Code:
NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005)
Component:
MediumWrap
Interface:
IMedium {ad47ad09-787b-44ab-b343-a082a3f2dfb1}

Can anyone help please?

What it says: file not found. Only you are in a position to verify that the file really isn't there, and then think where it might be.

I deleted your cross post. Cross posting is against the forum rules, please don't do it again.

I am not an expert so I have no idea how to find the file that is missing.

Thank you for making me feel like crap. I installed this to help me with work and thought I would receive support when an error occurred. My bad, I sure won't ask for help here again.

The error message names the exact folder where the VDI file is supposed to be and, as I said before, I am not in a position to check that folder for you since I have no access to your PC.

You shouldn't have to "find the file that is missing". If you created this VM then VirtualBox will have created all the necessary files together in the VM folder. For the files to now be separated would require additional actions by you which you have made no mention of.
