Hello!
I'm using virtual box on Linux with several guests. I have an issue on Windows 10.
I'm using a development environment for ARM, and everytime I stop Windows 10, all my preferences
are lost. For instance, the IDE editor settings (tab size, indent, style, etc...), shortcuts, everything
disappears. At first, I thought it might be because I'm closing the guest too brutally by closing its
window, but I also try to close windows with start -> shutdown and it doesn't change anything.
Does anybody know how to fix this issue?
Thanks for any hint.

This will do it for sure.Ojaru wrote:I'm closing the guest too brutally by closing its window,
Are you using snapshots? Did you do anything unusual with your VM's disks, like set up a differencing disk?
Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager. Zip the VM's .vbox file (not the .vbox-prev file), and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
