Hey Guys,

I am new to VirtualBox it's pretty awesome when you have a machine that can handle it all. I have installed Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop 32 bit in a VM however the display will only let me do 800x600 and 16 bit colors but VM tells me it can handle 32 bit colors where do I fix the resolution and colors at?

Thanks,
Michael

Welcome to our forum. You might want to take this opportunity to browse the Forum Posting Guide. This contains some useful tips on how to search for VBox knowledge and how to frame Qs.

You need to install Guest Additions on your guest. The User Guide explains how, and make sure that you are picking up the VBox display.
