I have an Ubuntu host and an XP guest. On the guest is Photoshop. rather than try to explain my issue, I will give an example.
When I attempt to zoom out in photoshop by alt-clicking, nothing happens because alt causes window interaction in Ubuntu. (In Ubuntu/gnome when you alt click a window you grab it, and can move it around).
Is there a way to have the guest completely override this behavior? Hotkey intensive software like Photoshop is likely to have a lot of issues with this.
Thanks

The VM should have full control over the keyboard with the exception of a few pre-defined shortcuts like Ctrl+Alt+Del and Ctrl+Alt+Fx. You can try to change the keyboard shortcut of your Window Manager. As I use Xfce and have the <super> key (that is the Windows Logo key) defined to use it for moving windows, I don't have this problem.

Easy way to do it?
I also use xfce. Is there an easy way to change the alt commands to use the super key, or do I have to go through and change them all manually in the window manager keyboard section? Just curious.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I can change the particilur key in the VM Tweaks, tab Accessibility. Even if you would change the global shortcuts like going to a TTY, VB would still ignore those inputs IIRC.
