Hi,

I cannot play you tube on latest Oracle Solaris 11.4 on Windows 10 host on Oracle VirtualBox. it tries to load with no success. I put 16GB RAM for the machine. I believe it is due to shoortage of the memory in the guest graphics card. 256MB for a high definition era? Please advise if I am wrong.

My gear has a ASUS Strix AMD Radeon 5700XT card onn a Ryzen platform.

256MB is the max for video memory for now. That does limit maximum guest OS screen size in the 4K/8K Retina Era.

Try reducing guest screen size then try the videos.

If the videos play with less screen but won't play with larger screen then you can settle in on a limit.
