Hi - I started using WSL2 with Ubuntu then installed VBox -
it seems like it is better option for so I want to remove WSL2/Ubuntu.
Will the VBox functionality be affected?
PS. Sorry for trivial question - I am new to VBox - started using it this week.

Answering my own question.
I did following - in Control Panel/Turn Windows features on or off
I unchecked: "Windows Subsystem for Linux" and "Virtual Machine Platform"
I removed Ubuntu distribution rebooted the system.
So far I see no issue with VBox operation with CentOS 7 and 8.
If I miss sth - I would appreciate any pointers.

At present, VirtualBox has problems running while WSL2 is active. It affects some guests more than others.
When the guests are running, look at the icons at the bottom of the guest window. the VirtualBox icon should look like a V with a blue background. If instead you see a green turtle behind the V, you may still strike problems. That means the the windows hypervisor is still active.
In this case you should follow the procedure listed here to prevent the hypervisor from loading.

Thanks for the info - I after I disabled WSL2 (hopefully correctly) I get white V in blue "chip" with b&w rectangle (bus?) on right.
Hope it is correct - cannot post image yet - that is my first post on this forum.

The blue V chip is good. You are Hyper-V-free.
