Re: VirtualBox doesnt appear after executing it
Probably it's running very slowly because you have some part of the Hyper-v framework enabled. See related FAQ: I have a 64bit host, but can't install 64bit guests, especially post #3.

Re: VirtualBox doesnt appear after executing it
Ah, I see. I thought you were having problems running a VM.
Ok, problems with installation should be easier to deal with. First make sure that VirtualBox is properly installed: uninstall it and then reinstalled WHILE LOGGED IN AS THE CORRECT FINAL USER (i.e. not Admin), but do use "Run as administrator" to run the installer, do this whether or not you think you have admin rights.
If it still doesn't work then the problem is invariably caused by one or both of these:

If it still doesn't work then the problem is invariably caused by one or both of these:
- Third party antivirus.
- Some kind of buggy virtual disk application (e.g. one that mounts a VMDK as a usable drive).
Re: VirtualBox doesnt appear after executing it
thank you but no one of these options, i only have windows defender as antivirus and i don't have installed any app of virtual disk, i tried to install it with the antivirus off and i cant
Re: VirtualBox doesnt appear after executing it
I have a Windows 10 Pro N version, maybe can be that the problem?

Re: VirtualBox doesnt appear after executing it
As far as I can tell, none of the missing functionality is needed by VirtualBox. Having Hyper-v pre-installed could be a concern, but that concern is normally limited to when running VMs, not when running the manager. Likewise with every other concern I come up with.Jaimemtbn wrote:I have a Windows 10 Pro N version, maybe can be that the problem?
I have a vague memory that if you have any other app installed that uses a conflicting version of Qt, that could cause problems. But it's been a long time since anything like that came up, IIRC.
One thing you could try is to open the Task Manager while the UI is failing to load, and look for any other task consuming an inordinate amount of CPU - other than VirtualBox itself. Even better would be if you could install a Process Explorer type tool and pinpoint the exact DLL that causes the problem. I'm thinking some kind of network redirector that's waiting forever for some resource to become available.
Re: VirtualBox doesnt appear after executing it
Thank you another time but no one of these options, i no have any program who works with Qt and i no have any process that use so much CPU, my CPU is at 5% when i open VMBox
