OS Installations Don't Persist After Restart

I haven't seen any other posts about this, so I suspect that I am missing something obvious... but I am coming up with nothing, here.

I setup the HDD image, configure the device settings, mount the install ISO and perform a smooth installation. Everything goes perfectly, I end up in a working instance of the installed OS and see that the .vbi file is the appropriate size for a successfull install. I reboot the OS and suddenly... nothing is found. It's like it doesn;t detect the HDD. This has happend with Ubuntu, Slack and Fedora so it's obviously not some OS compatability quirk.

Any help would be appreciated. This is frustrating the hell out of me.

Do you have any specific settings on the VDI or Guest? What OS did you reboot? The host or the guest? Please provide as much information as you can. See the Forum Posting Guide for help.

I don't have a guest setup and the only specific .vdi setting is that it is an expanding drive.

When I reboot the virtualized OS.

Don't bump your topic within 24 hours, it's bad behaviour.

You say you don't have a Guest setup, how can you run a guest without settings? Post them.

You seem to have a bit of an attitude, but have yet to offer much else.

I'll figure the issue out myself and will post as I see fit, but thanks for the etiquette lesson.

I should have asked sooner, but could you provide some more information? Please see the Forum Posting Guide for some help.
