update popup on windows non-clickable

On Windows 10 with V6.x, when it detects a new version available it throws up a popup presenting what appear to be two links, one to virtualbox dot org, and another to the download of the new version.
However, clicking on them does nothing, nor do the contents get copied with Ctrl-C.
Are those link supposed to be useable? Is there a Windows configuration that needs to be corrected?
I am puzzled.
thanks,
-dB

I'm also having this issue - it has been that way for the last few updates.
it is very frustrating, to have to go to the web site , and try to get the update.

This has been happening at various reports. We haven't been able to pin down what the problem is.
On my host, clicking the link opens my default browser and the browser starts the download.

My first guess is going to be ad blockers and similar things. Next time I see an update I'll turn those off and restart Chrome to see.

I too am experiencing this and it has been since the last two updates..
I tried setting three different browsers as default, no difference, I also made sure there were no add blockers, although how could an add blocker act upon the programs update window? They typically wok within the browser.
I'm betting there are a lot more people out there with this happening that have not reported it.
BTW it is both hyperlinks in the window that do not work.
