Does exist an option allowing to specify screen resolution for VB ?
Thanks.

You are thinking about the problem incorrectly.
VirtualBox doesn't have "a" screen resolution. It's a hardware emulator, with capabilities which can be different for each simulated PC. Also, hardware (simulated or not) does not pick what resolution an OS will use. The hardware (VirtualBox) provides a spectrum of capabilities, the guest OS then chooses whatever specific resolution it wants to use.
I.e. if you want to pick a display size for the guest, look for controls inside the guest. Also make sure that you installed the Guest Additions (GAs), which allows the guest OS to see the full graphics capabilities of the "hardware". If the VM is running and the GAs are installed then you can quickly pick a display size in the menu "View|Virtual Screen 1|Resize to xxx by yyy". This essentially just asks the running guest OS to change to that display size.

Sorry to be confused with the terms.
Indeed I want to specify the screen of guest OS screen.
At the launching I accepted some option ("allow window resizing" ... or something like this ... I don't remember).
I can resize the window drugging it by mouse. As result the icons, fonts, etc. are corrupted because of initial ratio isn't kept.
So, I am considering two possibilities (I don't know if they exist as I imagine them):
[*]resize guest window OS with mouse, but original ratio should be kept
[*]specify somewhere some of the standard screen sizes for guest window OS (better)
Actually it looks like this:
How to check if GAa are installed ?
Where is located "View|Virtual Screen".
Thanks.

That depends on what OS is running in the guest. If it is Windows, you will see it in
Control Panel>Programs & Features, along with all the other programs installed in the vm.
If they are not installed, click on the
Devices tab at the top of the screen, scroll down and select
Insert Guest Additions CD Image.. You should them get a popup message asking what you want to do with the CD.
If the GAs are installed, you can resize the windows by dragging a corner of the screen, or you can change it from within Windows, just as you do for Windows on a physical PC.

My guest OS is Ubuntu 64.
If they are not installed, click on the Devices tab at the top of the screen, scroll down and select Insert Guest Additions CD Image
Where can I get this .iso ?
If the GAs are installed, you can resize the windows by dragging a corner of the screen, ...
I'm not aware if
Guest Additions are installed or not, but I can drag corner of guest OS window. The problem is that the ratio of objects (fonts, icons) isn't kept.

Nobody said that you needed an ISO. All you were told to do was click a menu item.

At the link below
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Virtu ... tAdditions
they talk that
VBoxGuestAdditions.iso can be found here
http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/
in the subdirectory for the latest version of VirtualBox.
My version of the VirtualBox is
6.1.16 r140961.
The latest version at the link above is
6.1.0_RC1
Will it work with my VB ?
Thanks

You don't need to download Guest Additions separately. The correct ISO is already available within the VirtualBox installation. With the VM running, just use the Device Menu Item and choose "Insert Guest Additions CD image.." and watch for the pop-up prompt which asks what you want to do next.

Some OS's might not do anything, depending on what settings the user has chosen with earlier CDs used in the OS.
The Guest Additions installer will be in the VM's CD drive. After "Insert Guest Additions CD image..", if you don't see any popup prompt, look in the VM's CD drive.
