Hi guys,
I have would like to create a new VM with Ubuntu 20, on Windows 10 Pro, but i had problems to execute the steps to install Ubuntu.
My host machine has:
- Windows 10 Enterprise 64Bits
- Intem Core i5-8350U
- 16gb RAM
- 240gb SSD
- VirtualBox 6.1
My guest machine:
- Ubuntu 20.10 64Bits
- 4096 MB RAM
- 128 MB Video
I start my virtual machine, and select the ubuntu ISO file to boot than the first screen to select ubuntu appear and I select Ubuntu but after nothing happens, the black screen remains forever.

The last time I tested a 'modern' Ubuntu install it locked up if the VM wasn't allocated 2 processors. Could you increase the processor count from 1 to 2 and try running the installer again?

MCARVALL, I deleted your duplicate post.
In addition to MultiOS's thoughts, Hyper-V is enabled and needs to be disabled. See HMR3Init: Attempting fall back to NEM (Hyper-V is active).
