I am using Virtualbox 6.1.16 r140961 (Qt5.6.2) with the extensions pack installed.

Both my host and guest OSes are Microsoft Windows 20H2 (build 19042.572), 64-bit, English.

The following items do not work:

Shared Folders
Shared Clipboard (bidirectional)
Drag and Drop (bidirectional)

Attached is zipped file containing the log (password: vbforum)

None of those things will work until the necessary guest drivers are installed, i.e. the Guest Additions.

Click the link or read chapter 4 of the user manual PDF that's inside the c:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox folder.

I did install the Guest Additions but chose the wrong method of installing it.

Just below the header "Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager", there's a menu bar.

I clicked File on the menu bar and chose Preferences. In the Extensions box that popped up, I clicked Extensions followed by the small icon with a Plus sign and installed the Guest Additions.

That is an entirely different thing. The extension pack is installed on the host machine to allow VirtualBox to handle additional tasks such as USB2 and 3.

The guest additions are installed in the guest to enable the OS to work properly in a virtual machine. This is what gives you shared folders.

Thanks.

Did you mean: Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager --> File --> Preferences --> Extensions (on the left panel) --> Adds new package (small icon with + sign) --> Guess Additions software

You install the guest additions in the guest while the guest is running. Click on the Devices tab at the top of the windows and select Insert Guest Additions CD image... . With a Windows 10 guest you should then get a message asking what you want to do. Select the option to install the guest additions.
Install GAs.PNG
Before you reboot, click the Devices tab again, hover over Optical Drive and select Remove disk from virtual drive . This will eject the guest additions cd image from the optical drive of the vm.

Read user manual chapter 4, as I already said. That has answers to your questions.

Yes, I have already done that.

In addition, I also installed the Guest Additions under Oracle VM VirtualBox Manager --> File --> Preferences --> Extensions (on the left panel) --> Adds new package (small icon with + sign) --> Guess Additions software
(The above method will install the USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 drivers, like you said.)

FTFY, that's where you install the Extension Pack.

As pointed out before, the Extension Pack does not give Virtualbox shared folders, shared clipboard & drag-n-drop. Guest Additions provide these things.

Guest Additions get installed in the guest OS through the guest CD drive. Guest Additions do not get installed on the host OS, otherwise they'd be called 'Host Additions'.

It appears you're up-ending the terminology that forum users use to fully understand each other. Please mind this, so we can understand you.

If you do not have working shared folders, shared clipboard & drag-n-drop, please do the following:

Start the guest from full normal shutdown, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the guest from within the guest OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the guest with the Power Off option set.

Right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
