vm needs to obtain corp network IP

Hi there,
windows 10 pro + latest virtualbox

My laptop is connected to our corp network through VPN. After I successfully create a linux vm (CentOS , I need it have corp network IP so other people in my team can have access (ssh, etc) to it.
How can I achieve it?

Now I have tried NAT and bridged network, and vm IP address is always something like 192.168.xxx.xxx, which is not what we need.

Does your laptop get a corp IP when it connects through VPN? If it does, then the best way would be to run the vm in bridged mode and then make its own VPN connection to your workplace.

yes, it does.

Do you mean I choose 'attach to Bridged Adapter' in Network setting? I tried, doesn't work.

Is you laptop a standalone PC? You need to be on a LAN to use bridged mode. Bridged mode gives the vm access to the LAN by sharing the host's network connection.

Since you were talked about getting a 192.168.x.x address I assumed you had bridged mode working and that you were getting your config from a LAN router. NAT gives you 10.x.x.x IPs.
