HI to all,
I've created a virtual machine to make some exercises with SQL on OracleXE (and don't litter physical machine configuration), but after having installed and updated VM and installed OracelXE and SQLDeveloper, I've tried to connect to database obtaining this error message : "network adapter could not extabilish connection".
During install I didn't have any error message
I think it's due to some problems with network adapter's configuration.

I've this configuration:

Host : Windows 10 Pro x64
Guest : Windows 7 Pro x64

OracleXE 184 (x64)
sqldeveloper-19.2.1.247.2212-x64

I've tried with Bridged connection and NAT, but the result is always the same; meanwhile VM has a regular internet connection...
Did someone had the same problem and solved it?

If the guest has internet while the database connection keeps failing, then Virtualbox's network is working and there is a problem with your database setup.

May be there was something concerned with vm network and something concerned with OracleXE: installation ok, without errors, all services up but listener wasn't able to work; and machine wasn't unable to ping itself; I disabled Windows firewall, but always the same situation; so in this case I changed VM software only for this machine, and now it works perfectly.
