unless the software is only windows compatible maybe?
I guess the sw tater wants to use runs only under windows ...

Hi !
Personally I solved the problem with virtual Windows XP to changing the host machine audio output (Lubuntu)>
Mouse RightClick from lubuntu main banner at speaker icon, then Audio application settings, F6 to change the audio output,
at my case that worked...!
After that just launch the XP virtual machine...
