Hi,

I am using the Host operating system as window 10. below the is the configuration of the my laptop
Name : Dell latitude 5400
Processor: Intel core I7, 1.9GHz, 4-core
RAM: 16GB

I have installed the ubuntu 16.04.07 using the virtual box(6.1). I have attached the image of the configuration which I have done in to the virtual box.

When I start the compilation of the yocto, compilation every time stuck. I have attached the image of the compilation stuck.
When compilation is in progress CPU utilization of the ubuntu is very less (~5%). I think virtual box is not able utilize the allocated resources fully.

Please help us to debug the issue. I am attaching the below images
1) Virtual box configuration to run ubuntu 16.04
2) Yocto compilation stuck image
3) CPU usage while compilation is in progress

Regards,
Sandip

Start the guest from full power off, not save-state. Run until you see the problem happen, then shut down the guest from within the guest OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the guest with the Power Off option set.

Please right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip the log file, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

Also, please right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose "Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager". In the window that opens, zip the guest's .vbox file, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.
