Hardening Error w/ 3rd Party AV

Hello!
I've been scouring the forum for a while looking for solutions to my problem, but so far no luck. Does anyone have experience with ThirtySeven4 antivirus? Our school is using it, and up until recently I had no problems with VirtualBox. I just had my laptop reimaged and still had a Hardening Error. Had ITS remove the AV and my machine loaded no problem. Does anyone have any tips on what could be modified for 3rd party AV to avoid these issues in the future when they demand to reinstall? Unfortunately my log was overwritten with the successful launch, but I was having the following error message on launch:

Timed out after 2004 ms waiting for child request #0
(PurifyChildAndCloseHandles)
(rc=258)

Please try reinstalling VirtualBox.

Never heard of that AV before.

If you ran Virtualbox fine without it but hardening trips when it is installed, you or IT might be able to set an exception for everything in the Virtualbox install folder and all the Virtualbox files in the global settings in "C:\Users\{you}\.Virtualbox" and the Virtualbox guests' files.
