Virtual Box Guru Meditation Error
Virtual Box Guru Meditation Error
I shut down this Virtual Box on my C: and created couple of additional Virtual Box on my external hard drive (E:). After creating new Virtual Box, I tried to power on this Virtual Box and I am encountering Guru Meditation Error. I tried few times to power on this virtual box but kept getting same error. Other Virtual Box starts without any error
. System says that log file is too big to attach. So I zipped the file and attached it with this thread. Thanks in advance for looking into this.

And ended up with 59 bytes? I don't think so. The attachment is empty.SQLBoi wrote:So I zipped the file and attached it with this thread.

Re: Virtual Box Guru Meditation Error
Just wanted to post an update on this issue. My Virtual Box started working without doing anything. I restarted the box this evening and booted right up and been working since then. I don't know what made it work. I have not done anything, just rebooted. Yesterday I couldn't even reboot this box. Thanks.

Re: Virtual Box Guru Meditation Error
I see you are trying to run Windows-10 (64bit) on one core. That will not be a pleasant experience. Your host has 6 cores available so I'd increase this to two cores (not more).
Also you have a mismatched extension pack installed. This is not allowed.

And incidentally, neither of these is the current version of VirtualBox, nor is it the latest stable build. You should upgrade both software and extension pack to 6.1.14.00:00:02.359683 VirtualBox VM 6.1.6 r137129 win.amd64 (Apr 9 2020 19:01:29) release log

00:00:02.638445 Oracle VM VirtualBox Extension Pack (Version: 6.1.4 r136177; VRDE Module: VBoxVRDP)
Re: Virtual Box Guru Meditation Error
Thank you for your suggestion. I will upgrade software and extension pack. I do not know how to increase core in my virtual box though. Also how did I installed mismatched extension pack

Right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, and choose Settings. Click System, then the Processor tab. Increase the Processor(s) slider to 2. Click OK.SQLBoi wrote:increase core in my virtual box
Very often folks upgrade Virtualbox without upgrading the EP.SQLBoi wrote:how did I installed mismatched extension pack
