Running virtualbox on windows but triggered guru meditation critical error

Post by txlcindy »

I installed Virtual Box and tried to run Mac OS Catalina on Windows, however I triggered a guru meditation critical error. Please help me to solve this, thank you.

Thanks, txlcindy, for restoring this post. Looks good!

As MultiOS points out, Apple's EULA requires Mac hardware for a Mac OS guest. It's OK to run Windows on a Mac as the host OS then run a Mac guest, but the hardware must be Mac.

Per forum guidelines we'll lock this topic. If by chance you did have a physical Mac computer, you can post on Mac Guests with a guest vbox.log.
