bluescreen when plugin USB device

Post by Deus1959 »

Hello,
I use VirtualBox version 6.1.14 on a Windows 10 host system. For some time now I get a bluescreen immediately when I open the VirtualBox Manager (no virtual machine is started) and then I plug a USB device into the PC (PlugAndPlay Error).
However, this only happens if virtualbox manager or a virtual machine has been opened.
It does not matter if I use a 2.0 or 3.0 device or port.
I have already completely uninstalled VirtualBox and removed it from the system and then reinstalled the latest version.
I am looking for ways to narrow down the cause.

I am thankful for every hint.
However, I have to exclude a new installation of the host system.

Please start a guest without doing anything to the USB devices, let it log in, then shut it down. Right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose Show Log. Save the far left tab's log, zip it, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

Also, in the place where you found the Selectorwindow.log, find, zip, and post the VboxSVC.log.
