I have a critical error failed to create the Virtualbox.COM object
Could not create the default settings file c:\Documents and Settings\User\.Virtualbox\VirtualBox.xml
I am new to this app. Can anybody steer me in the right direction?

I did use the search function.
Unfortunately I was looking for an answer in the wrong place.
The issue was not applications related but it was a permissions error on the folder. I have resolved the problem. I can offer additional information if anybody needs it
