When launching VirtualBox I get messages related to an error while opening a support with a given ID because the related path is not fully qualified.
The message is in Italian.
The exit code is VBOX_E_FILE_ERROR
How can I traoubleshoot the problem and detect if a VM is corrupted (I have a lot of VMs).
Regards
marius

Re: Failed opening ...
If the message text is posted (Use the Copy button if there is one) it can be translated.marius_1956 wrote:The message is in Italian.
Please post the text, and also the guest's .vbox file that caused the error:
Please right-click the guest in the main Virtualbox window's guest list, choose "Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager". In the window that opens, zip the guest's .vbox file, and post the zip file, using the forum's Upload Attachment tab.

Re: Failed opening ...
Many thanks for the answer.
I include the text of one of the messages I get:
Apertura non riuscita del supporto con il seguente ID: {95e87c47-ce0a-492e-8413-e8263731c117}.
The given path '{95e87c47-ce0a-492e-8413-e8263731c117}' is not fully qualified.
Codice di uscita:VBOX_E_FILE_ERROR (0x80BB0004)
Componente: MediumWrap
Interfaccia: IMedium {ad47ad09-787b-44ab-b343-a082a3f2dfb1}
Chiamante: IVirtualBox {d0a0163f-e254-4e5b-a1f2-011cf991c38d}
RC chiamante: VBOX_E_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND (0x80BB0001)
VMs look to work fine.
Maybe the proberm can be due to some VMs I deleted without removing them from the list?
I left them on the list in order to find them if I restore them from backup...
Regards
marius

Re: Failed opening ...
That error is saying that a particular file is being accessed, but the data has a UUID instead of a drive & folder path. Post the .vbox file for the guest that has this error, and we can see what can be done.

Re: Failed opening ...
I can't identify the guest causing the error.
How can I?
I removed from the interface the VMs I had previously deleted, but the messages are still displayied.
The last VM cannot be deleted, and the messages are still displayied.
How can I troubleshoot the problem?
Regards
marius

I solved the problem by applying the solution in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x0rVNpkqWis .
I would be happy to identify the origin of the problem...

Re: Failed opening ...
If you could tell us what you did, it would help us diagnose it better. (haven't time to watch a youtube video myself)
You could try zipping & posting the 'C:\Users\{you}\.Virtualbox' folder (note the period in the folder name.)
