I have been following VirtualBox development for a while and I have come to believe it has the potential to replace VMWare Server.
Unfortunately I can find no definitive information about how I should do this.
Presently I am running CentOS 5.0 without the GUI and with VMWare Server 1.0.3. I have installed Windows Server 2003 and Netware 6.5 inside it.
Inside this configuration. Is it possible to replace VMware with VirtualbBox?
Thanks in advance

Re: VirtualBox Server
Either should work just fine in VirtualBox since it is just emulating standard i386 hardware. It would be like getting an HP computer that only supports Windows XP, but you decide to wipe it out and put Netware on it. Even though it's not "supported" by VirtualBox, it may still run.Serge Fonville wrote:I have been following VirtualBox development for a while and I have come to believe it has the potential to replace VMWare Server.
