Not giving the proper thought prior installation of VB OCE I find myself at an impasse.
My unit that is pre loaded XP Pro, registered, activated, but came with no disk. Can I assume w/o a disk I cannot have XP guest on my 8.10 ubuntu VB.
obviously a 77 yr old with a major challenge

You might want to check the sticky here to get a 'dual boot' to work, for both a virtual and physical install in the same drive. But if you want to install XP clean, you have to buy a new license, because the one that came with your system is bound by it's hardware.
