I have researched this but not found the answer to this. I have a Ubuntu guest running under the current Virtualbox. That is having issues. I would like to reinstall the extensions but have ejected the virtual disk from the guest. How can I remount this virtual cd or reinstall that extensions?
Thank you

Re: Reinstalling virtuallbox extensions
By "extensions" I presume you really mean "Guest Additions" - i.e the VirtualBox component that is installed in the VM and not on the host.
With your VM in the foreground (not the VirtualBox Manager) open the Devices menu. You will see an item that inserts the virtual disk into your VM. You can then mount this image in your VM.
