Re: BlueScreen Installing 7.1.6 on Windows 10 Host
@vbicf Can you please supply all setupapi* log files from your host (usually in C:\Windows\INF) when you have reproduced the issue? I'd like to take a look at those.
Re: BlueScreen Installing 7.1.6 on Windows 10 Host
Installed version 7.2.2 and the install seemed OK. But then trying to start any VM it would throw
Error In supR3HardenedWinReSpawn NtCreateFile(\Device\VBoxDrvStub) failed: -5657 (rcNt=0xe986e9e7) VBoxDrvStub error: Signature #1/1: Not signed with the build certificateI looked up how to resolve that issue and:
- Uninstalled
- Rebooted
- Removed files matching C:\Windows\System32\drivers\Vbox*.sys
- Reinstalled

The driver updating in the installer still needs work, yes. There are multiple reports that upgrading VirtualBox leaves old drivers behind which then cause those errors about not matching signatures.
