Kali Linux freezes after I try to log in

Hello!

I'm new to virtualization and just downloaded Kali to get more experience with it. However, I haven't been able to log in because it keeps freezing after putting in my credentials. I tried different network settings, changing the OS type, turned off Hyper-V (I'm on Windows 10), reinstalled the VM itself, allocated more resource, but none of it has worked. I would hugely appreciate some help so I can get started. I've attached the log file in a ZIP folder since most posts I see here ask for it.

Hello from a fellow end-user: kind of a long shot, but what happens if you change the display type from VMSVGA to VBoxSVGA? It will probably give you a warning that the settings are invalid but should allow saving and using those settings anyway.
