Error installing Guest Additions to Windows XP

So when i try to install it gives me an error: "Error excuting "C:\Program Files\Oracle\"Vbox GA"\VboxDrvInst.exe" and a bunch of stuff.

I have tried almost everything people have said. Also i am installing directly from Virtual Box from the "Devices" Tab but it still won't work

This is a known issue that has been fixed in the upcoming Virtualbox 7.1.7 version.
You can install it by downloading it from here: https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Testbuilds (Latest 7.1.x test builds section).

The issue was originally discovered back in October 2024 and was fixed in February 2025.
