Hello. I'm new to virtual box and I'm getting a critical error when powering up a Rocky Linux v 9.5 VM. I've attached the recommended log files but I'm not technical enough to figure out what the issue is.
I'm on a windows 11 host machine and tried setting up the VM with the recommended resource allocation and then tried again with increased resources but got the same error message on startup.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Re: Critical error on startup (Rocky Linux)
Unfortunately you attached 2 hardening log files (and not one hardening and one regular VBox.log as the names would hint). So I can only guess what you're running into the VERR_INVALID_ARG guru straight on VM start (happens most frequently with an AMD CPU), which is solved by using the latest 7.0/7.1 test build.

I apologize. Attached are the correct logs. I will try installing the test build and running it on there as well. Thank you

Re: Critical error on startup (Rocky Linux)
Nope, my blind guess was wrong. Your VM goes down after starting to boot off the DVD image.
The message on the screen is "ISOLINUX 6.04 ETCDisolinux: Image checksum error, sorry..." - could it be that the DVD image is corrupted?
