New installation on new ARM host machine. It seems to work, but any attempt either to change the Linux setting for display resolution or change the machine's own window size via resizing, fails. It is permanently stuck at 1280 x 800.
Mac Studio M4 Max
macOS Sequoia 15.3.2
VirtualBox-7.1.6-167084-macOSArm64
Extension Pack 7.1.6r167084

Everything suggests that Guest Additions is installed, except the lack of a small status icon at the bottom right of the screen (which I remember from working with VB6 on an Intel Mac).
TIA,
Mark

Display resizing is working OK for me with a Debian VM on Sequoia
Check that you are using an X11 desktop. I think there are still "issues" with Wayland.

Re: Display resolution locked to 1280 x 800
I am running X11. I think the problem is a mismatch between the kernel (5.15.0) and the kernel-headers (4.18.0). I can't find any OL8 headers for ARM newer than 4.18.0. The end result is that VBoxClient is not running as an X11 client (xlsclients command).
