Can the UEFI messages on boot be suppressed?

Post by DocBrown »

I'm running VB Version 7.1.4, host is iMac Late 2015 21.5-inch running Monterey. Guest is MacOS Big Sur and is running perfectly. I would like to suppress all the UEFI messages when the VM boots. I have suppressed the OS boot messages by changing the VBoxInternal2/EfiBootArgs parameters for the OS. Is that possible?

This is currently not supported and probably won't be unless someone from the community provides patches. We just don't have the resources to implement this currently I'm afraid.
