VM fails starting headless

Hi folks

Host: Windows 11 + VBox 7.0
Guest: CentOS Stream 9

VM only starts in Normal mode and systematically fails in headless or detachable mode

Detachable start
Result Code: E_FAIL (0X80004005)
Component: MachineWrap
Interface: IMachine {300763af-5d6b-46e6-aa96-273eac15538a}

Headless start
Result Code: E_FAIL (0X80004005)
Component: MachineWrap

Not without VBox.log for such a failed start... there is quite a lot of information how to provide troubleshooting information (for example in the sticky posts in the forums or the Troubleshooting chapter of the user guide), but no one seems to care.
