After upgrading to LM22 with some issues with the Nvidia 470 graphics card, I'm thinking of buying another one that is more compatible with Linux Mint.
I don't use the PC for gaming, but I do use and maintain virtual machines with Windows 10 and 11 in VirtualBox. With my current card I often have problems if I activate 3D acceleration in VirtualBox, so I usually have it disabled. I hope this problem will be solved with a new graphics card.
I've been doing some research and it seems that the best options are AMD or Intel (not Nvidia for sure). In this forum they speak well of the AMD RX6000 series. But on the other hand, since my platform is Intel, I'm not sure if an AMD graphics card with an Intel microprocessor on the board is advisable.
Thanks.
