Virtual Box not working for me

I have a new MacBook Pro 16" with 36 ram. Ive downloaded the correct virtual box that is said too (7.0.8 ). Every time I add a virtual machine it fails to boot and says no bootable medium found. I've been trying to use Kali Linux and got the ARM 64 download (even tried the ard64 download) but nothing seems to work. The closest I got was to was the kali bios screen but doesn't go anywhere after that. I have noticed when I got into system in the settings my processor is greyed out and I can't change it. Any help will be very appreciated thank you.

ARM support in 7.0.x was just "Developer Preview" and last updated about a year ago. If you want to get something working better please have a look at the 7.1.0_BETA1 (which can do ARM virtualization).

Thank you so much! it finally worked that way. Now I just have to figure out how to get the kali to go to full screen instead of that small box.
