VM's Keep Crashing

Post by Aidenc »

Hello

I am a student at college and need to create and use VM's with the Guest Additions but the problem is for every VM I create they keep on freezing and I will have to keep on resting it which is annoying. I have dedicated from 2GB of RAM to 16GB as well as 1 core to 6 and added 25 - 100GBs of storage but nothing works and 3D Acceleration has been turned off as well. I have also tried deleting the VM and creating another one

I have attached the logs for the latest Ubuntu 24.04 VM I created.

Thank You

Beware the 'Green Turtle' Icon in the VM Toolbar!
Try working through the Forum guidance notes on this problem, which can adversely affects some Host systems quite severely. See viewtopic.php?t=99390

You might also want/need to increase the Video Ram setting from the basic 16MB.
