VB7.0 take too large overhead of CPU times

Post by apo2 »

I upgrade VirtualBox 6.1.50 to 7.0.20, last weekend on macOS Monterey 12.7.5, for Windows 10 Guest VM. I have monitored CPU load for VBox Virtual Machine, and I am concerned about the CPU load (especially the user load) being a bit too high.
My MacBook Air have Intel Core i7-1060NG7 (4 Core 8 logical processor) @ 1.2GHz CPU but After starting the virtual machine, VBox VM takes approximately 12% user load and approximately 8.3% system load in an idle state.

How can I reduce the CPU load on my Windows VM when it is idle?
