Clipboard doesn't work between the W11 host and the W10 guest.

Post by thiagorodriguues »

I am having the issue that copy and paste is not working between host and guest.
For information, drag and drop works from Host to Guest, but the opposite does not.

Virtualbox 7.0.18 - Host: Windows 11 Enterprise 22H2 - Guest: Windows 10 Pro 22H2

Not sure it will help your Clipboard issue, but your VM is a little oversubscribed.

1. Memory (RAM)

Code: Select all

00:00:05.017183 Host RAM: 16082MB (15.7GB) total, 7243MB (7.0GB) available
00:00:05.279652 RamSize <integer> = 0x0000000200000000 (8 589 934 592, 8.0 GiB)
You should lower the RAM size of the VM to something like 6GB or free up some memory on the host by terminating uneeded tasks.

2. CPUs

Code: Select all

00:00:05.279651 NumCPUs <integer> = 0x0000000000000004 (4)
00:00:06.547384 CPUM: Physical host cores: 4
Your hardware has 4 cores. It is not recommended to use all the physical cores in the VM - logical (hyperthread) cores don't count. I suggest you use 2 or maybe 3 cores at the most.
