VBoxManage internalcommands sethduuid <filename>

Post by Neill_R »

hello

My system depends on the ability to change the UUID of a virtual disk. So I am asking Oracle VirtualBox will there be a command that does what I require in the future?

Code: Select all

└── neill | VBoxManage internalcommands sethduuid
Oracle VM VirtualBox Command Line Management Interface Version 7.0.18
Copyright (C) 2005-2024 Oracle and/or its affiliates

Usage: VBoxManage internalcommands <command> [command arguments]

Commands:

  sethduuid <filepath> [<uuid>]
Assigns a new UUID to the given image file. This way, multiple copies
of a container can be registered.
