I'm taking some time today to learn Ubuntu, and am installing the latest LTS version on a VBox Guest. However, the initial install triggers a BSOD crashes if the Guest VBox is configured with a Network adapter set as Bridged Adapter.
The boot process only gets so far before triggering the BSOD.
My host hardware is a Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller, with drivers (via Windows 10 update) 2015-04-10 driver version 9.1.410.2015.
Currently I'm progressing the Ubuntu install/learning with the Virtual Network Adapter set as NAT.
Keen to try some suggestions to resolve this.
Setting Bridge Mode on Network causes Host BSOD
Re: Setting Bridge Mode on Network causes Host BSOD
Is this with VirtualBox 7.0.16? If yes then it's a known issue which will be fixed shortly...
