I am using VirtualBox on a Windows 10 computer. The virtual machines are all Linux.
Currently Kubuntu.
Apart from the fact that you can only have one VirtualBox open at a time with an AMD computer, otherwise the performance of VirtualBox is extremely poor, the window does not open properly after logging into Linux. The status bar is cut off and I always have to enlarge the window manually.
But that is not the real issue.
The best way to test the performance of the browser (Chrome) is to play an online game.
A current modern browser game is 'Forge of Empire'.
If I switch to guild battles, large parts of the game are no longer displayed.
To clean this up, you have to reload the page with F5.
I tried countless settings, both with Virtualbox and with the browser. Without success.
However, the error clearly indicates that the browser has too little memory available.
It is definitely NOT the host computer.
There is an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16 Core with 64GB Ram
OK... in the past with a slightly weaker but Intel computer, I did not experience these problems. I was also able to have 4 virtual boxes open at the same time without any problems.
Any ideas?
