I'm facing issues installing VirtualBox Guest Additions on a Windows 7 SP1 guest OS. The main problem is that Windows 7 considers the included drivers as unsigned, preventing their installation.
As a workaround, I disabled driver signature enforcement, which allowed the installation. However, after a reboot, the system failed to start until I re-enabled the "disable driver signature enforcement" option.
While this workaround works, it's inconvenient, because I need to press F8, and choose "disable driver signature enforcement" every time I boot it. I have tried installing some patches, but it didn’t work.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue and found a fix? Your help would be greatly appreciated.
