Let me start by saying I'm no technical expert, so the terminology that i use might sound ridiculous, please forgive me for that!
My host spec: i7 processor, decent nvidia graphics card, 16gb ram, win 10 OS, have shit ton of free space on HDD and SSD.
I use Virtual box from Oracle. That's the only virtualization software I've ever used. I installed win 10 as my guest OS and the extensions pack that comes with this VB software. Made sure everything is up-to-date, yet the guest OS runs painfully slow!
I've read plenty of articles and tried all the fixes on the internet. None of them worked. Even tried giving it 8 gb ram and 4 cores to the processor setting. It still runs slow and i only have one guest OS.
Now I gave up and thinking about switching to VMware and see if that's gonna get the job done. But i have couple of questions before that next step,
How fast is vmware comparing to vbox?
Is it safe to use? Because Oracle is a well known company, i don't know anything about VMware!
Heard they got a paid version, does that mean i should expect developers deliberately pulled out important features from the free version?
If i install windows 10, should i give it more than 50 gb of space?
More Details:
I'm not going to want to run any other OS in the virtual machine. I only need the Win 10. I'm just trying to check out some porn games, but i don't want to download those in my main host system as it may or may not contain viruses! Most of those games are only accessible in Windows OS. So, there you go, that's the purpose, if you were wondering.
Is there any other solution to make Virtualbox faster or is it best i move over to VMware?

Hello,
Have you the V near mouse in the VM status bar (bottom), or a turtle?

Please post a VM log (zipped). This will show the configuration of your VM so that people may be able to help you. The current consensus is that a VM is not a good gaming platform, so there may be limitations o what you can achieve.
