VM crash when starting with 3d acceleration

Post by menof36go »

Hello,
I am experiencing crashes everytime i try to start my VM with 3d acceleration enabled (ExitCode=0xc0000005).
I have tried following the diagnosis of hardening issues guide in the forum.
I have disabled anti-virus, disabled hyper-v, reinstalled virtual box, updated graphics drivers, tried to update windows (no updates available) and ran sfc /scannow, running virtual box as administrator, but nothing has helped so far.

I have attached a zip with the logs. I tried reading through them, but did not find anything except some weird D3D12.dll mentions that only occur when i run it with 3d acceleration.

I would greatly appreciate if someone with a little more experience in how to interpret these logs could guide me on the right path.
I am aware that these problems are usually somehow related to messed up DLLs, but i have no clue how to proceed.

Greetings,
Fabian

The crash happened in the VMSVGA FIFO thread, which is part of the VirtualBox graphics implementation. I'd suggest to create a ticket in the Bugtracker.
