Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum and haven't used a forum in the last 10 years, so I'm sorry if I'm writing in the wrong place, give me some time to adjust. Thanks.
I am trying to install Virtual Box on my Apple M2 and Mackbook Pro ( Monterey ). This is the message I am getting and I have no idea what to do.
The virtual machine failed to boot. That might be caused by a missing operating system or misconfigured boot order. Mounting an operating system install DVD might solve this problem. Selecting an ISO file will attempt to mount it after the dialog is closed.
Thank you all for your patience with me and help, appreciate it!
Ricky

You have to provide the ISO for the operating system you want to install.
However, Please see M1/M2 Mac 7.0 Beta Status.
XP is the latest Windows OS reported working on the M1/M2 beta, though more recent Beta versions may have broken XP as well. More modern Windows won't run yet. Similar limits in Linux.
