Anti-virus software that works well with VBox on macOS?

Post by janpeter »

Hi,

I consider to invest in anti-virus etc software for macOS (intel machine).
However, I want VirtualBox to work well with it. I see several posta
indicating problems with Norton, BitDefender etc, but these post are
some years back.

What anti-virus software for macOS (Monterey and Intel) is recommended?
Think of F-secure, BitDefender...

Thanks

Selecting a trustworthy antivirus program is essential for VirtualBox on macOS. It is well known that Avast and Bitdefender work well with VirtualBox, offering strong security without sacrificing the efficiency of virtual machines. To ensure maximum security in your VBox environment on macOS, make sure the antivirus program you select supports smooth integration with virtualization technologies.
