NAT working but not bridge for network ??

Hello,
I have the same issue.
I had my vms in VMWare but had issues with older suse versions and switched to Virtualbox.
Like usual i set the vm nic to bridge and coose my Lan, but the vms doesnt seem to reach even the regular network.
I know if the bridging was bitching @ vmware i just had to restart the used service (vmnetbridge).
Sadly i cant find anything similar for virtualbox.

Right-click the VM in the main Virtualbox window's VM list, choose Show in Explorer/Finder/File Manager. Zip the VM's .vbox file (not the .vbox-prev file), and post the zip file, using the forum's Attachments tab. (Configure your host OS to show all extensions if the folder that opens does not show a .vbox file.)

Start the VM from full normal shutdown, not save-state.

In both host and VM OS's, run the correct command from the following in the Command Prompt or Terminal:
ipconfig /all
ifconfig
ip address
Post the outputs, label which is which.

Shut down the VM from within the VM's OS if possible. If not possible, close the Virtualbox window for the VM with the Power Off option set.

I now have a solution that riddles me even more, but the passtrough is now usable for me.

Maybe you can try it too:
I used an external usb lan stick and set it up as bridge and now the vms get an ip - have internet etc.
The lan ports are connected to the same network, but only the usb one is doing its job.
I have no idea why. Both are GB eth with Realtek chips.
