That's some amount of forking. But if OPNsemse retains any relation to FreeBSD, there is apparently a way to do it: https://docs.freebsd.org/en/books/handb ... virtualboxOPNsense ... is a fork of pfSense, which in turn was forked from m0n0wall built on FreeBSD
