Mouse freezes in Windows and Linux guests on Ubuntu 18.04

Same problem here, with Version 6.1.8 r137981 (Qt5.9.7),Leap 15.2 host running on Leap 15.2 on guest. Has any virtualbox people found a solution ?

Glancing back, I find that others have posted suggestions. Did you read the topic you posted on?

I must say that when the problem arise, you have to move the mouse on each windows app then use the keyboard shortcut to leave each app then select the kickoff menu (on opensuse), select 'leave', select reboot.
In other words you select with the mouse, then replace the mouse click with the keyboard shortcut.

In my case that arise only sometimes.
I am curently using opensuse leap 15.1 and 15.2 with virtualbox 6.1.12

I had this problem. The problem is related to "Mini Toolbar" and disabling it is the solution.

I have had this problem for quite some time (it has been driving me mad), and this seems to be a functional workaround - Thank you so much for the solution (or the workaround at least).
