I am on a Mac with a M2 silicon chip, and I recently downloaded virtualbox so that I can get a Windows 10 vm. However, whenever I try to run the vm, I see the Windows logo for a few minutes before it crashes. I am not sure what to do to fix the error. I have looked through the forms for tips, and I have found a couple of other posts with similar errors, but the solutions that worked for them do not work for me. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Here is the exact error message as displayed on Oracle:
Result Code:
NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0X80004005)
Component:
SessionMachine
Interface:
ISession {c0447716-ff5a-4795-b57a-ecd5fffa18a4}
And this is the line of the code that I think is causing the fatal error:
ERROR [COM]: aRC=VBOX_E_IPRT_ERROR (0x80bb0005) aIID={6ac83d89-6ee7-4e33-8ae6-b257b2e81be8} aComponent={ConsoleWrap} aText={The VBoxGuestPropSvc service call failed with the error VERR_HGCM_SERVICE_NOT_FOUND}, preserve=false aResultDetail=-2900
Thanks!

Re: Error Message with VBoxGuestPropSvc
Please see M1/M2 Mac 7.0 Beta Status.
XP is the latest Windows OS reported working on the M1/M2 beta. More modern Windows won't run yet. Similar limits in Linux.

Re: Error Message with VBoxGuestPropSvc
Does this mean that the vm will not work on my computer for the time being?

Just delete that last four words and you have it.
